Entry-Level Wide Format Printing Product
EFI says its Vutek QS220 can be a lower cost entry into wide format printing. The direct to substrate flatbed printer has a print resolution of up to 1080 dpi and prints with six-color imaging, plus white ink. Print speeds go up to 750 square feet per hour or sixteen 4-foot by 8-foot boards per hour. It prints on flexible and rigid media up to 2 inches thick. Flexible materials do not have to be laminated.
